Premier album du duo LowKey & Kardinal, Puzzled est aussi la première sortie de Tracker, jeune et fringant label créé spécialement pour l’occasion par Audiogenic. Et à l’écoute du disque, on se dit qu’il fallait au moins cela pour marquer le coup. Synthétisant tout ce que les deux DJ’s français avaient pu montrer depuis 2005 sur leurs EP’s précédents (dont Vaccum Cleaner sorti en 2009), à savoir une techno enlevée et accrocheuse qui n’hésite pas à emprunter certaines idées à ses voisins électro, transe ou club, Puzzled est un bon album qui ne s’écoute pas sagement posé sur un fauteuil rembourré en lisant un almanach. Loin de s’adresser aux léthargiques du samedi soir, Puzzled vous donnera envie, comme son nom l’indique fort justement, de vous éparpiller jusqu’à l’épuisement. Harcelé par des beats percutants, poursuivi jusque dans vos derniers retranchements par des basses tantôt rondes tantôt lacérées, chassé par l’impression d’anarchie groovy et utopique qui habite chacun des onze titres présents, vous n’aurez pas d’autre choix que de vous plonger à corps perdu dans cet album plus « rave & banger » que Ravensburger. Si vous avez été convaincu, sachez que des remixes devraient également bientôt voir le jour (on parle d’Electric Rescue, Lunatic Asylum Electro Hartigan aka Al Core). Nous, on en frétille d’avance.
